The SPP conference is the premier international forum in plasmonics, a rapidly growing field the cutting edge of optical sciences, including photonics, thin film, and nanotechnology. SPP5 will bring together over 600 plasmonics experts from across the globe, both from academia and industry, to exchange their latest research and set the agenda for future developments in the field. We have already received over 620 abstracts from researchers in 37 nations, clearly marking SPP5 as the largest SPP conference to date. Topics will include fundamental science, nanophotonics, terahertz plasmonics, nano fabrication and applications of plasmonic (nano) structures, such as biosensors for health care and light concentration for solar energy, plus optical instrumentation for performing state-of-the-art research.
