We would like to invite you to submit abstracts, which will be peer-reviewed according to the topic categories. There is no limit to the number of abstracts an individual may author.

Please read the instructions below thoroughly before preparing your abstract.

  • All abstracts must be submitted electronically via the On-line Abstract Submission System of this website by 15 December 2010. Oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts, based on the quality of the scientific content. Abstracts submitted by mail or fax will not be processed and considered for review by the Scientific Program Committee.
  • All abstracts must be submitted by the presenting author. Correspondence will be made with the presenting authors. A presenting author does not have to be the first named author listed on an abstract.
  • Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
  • Abstracts should be no longer than 1 A4 page and must be submitted according to the guidelines written in the abstract template in a Word Document (template can be downloaded here).
  • All abstracts must be written in English. The use of graphics, tables or photographs should be used when necessary to substantiate results and should be pasted into the abstract template form. Ensure that they are within the printable area of the page. The conversion of your text file to a PDF file can result in omission of images if they are not within the printable area of the page.
  • When submitting your abstract online, the following list of topics will appear as drop down menu.
    1. Active plasmonic components: diodes, optical transistors, switches, ...
    2. Extraordinary transmission through subwavelength apertures
    3. Metamaterials, negative index materials
    4. Nanoantennas, plasmonic nanoparticles & nanowires, plasmonic crystals
    5. Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering
    6. Terahertz plasmonics
    7. Optical Magnetism
    8. Nanofabrication
    9. Nonlinear plasmonics
    10. Optical data storage
    11. Passive plasmonic components: waveguides, filters, ...
    12. Plasmonics for energy
    13. Plasmonics in biology
    14. Theory and Modelling
    15. Ultrafast plasmonics
    16. Other exciting areas

  • Please prepare details of all co-authors: first name, family name, affiliation, country.
  • The title of an abstract is limited to 90 characters in upper and lower case. The body should be no longer than 1 A4 page, according to the provided abstract template. Text beyond the limits will be truncated.
